Secretarys report- Minutes for February 11 were accepted as presented and filed
Treasurers Report- February report not ready on this date. AV will notify trustees when report is ready.
Library Directors Report
- Circulation report does not include renewals. The bugs are still being worked out of the new Horizon system. We will get a revised February report at the March meeting.
- Fran is almost finished with several new policies. She is waiting for a sample of a Patriot Act Policy from the state Library. Trustees will review at next meeting
- Tom Corbett from the GMILCS staff has accepted a new position. GMILCS is seeking a replacement.
Old Business
- Community Survey- Mark and Gwen are inputting and hope to be done by the next trustees meeting. Trustees would like to see breakdown of survey information by: age, gender, and straight overall quantitative. For the nonusers, we should probably just do a straight quantitative and then will decide if we need further breakdown.
- Budget- The Budget Committee reduced the "Book" line by $4500. MF to attend Budget Committee Public Hearing tonight to represent the trustees.
- The Community Calendar- . MJ to check with Jeff to see if contact has been made with Robin Boyd
- Craft Class- Lisa Gillis is teaching a 4 week crochet class- this weeks class postponed due to Lisas illness- will be rescheduled.
- Calligraphy Class- MF will contact Yolanda Walsh after the March trustees meeting
- Portsmouth Childrens Museum traveling exhibit- MF will contact them after the March trustees meeting. Contact name is Paula Rais 436-3853
- Scrapbooking class- Joy Buzzell has offered to teach this class later in the spring. MF to follow up with her.
- Oak Point- MJ contacted Oak Point and negotiated an extension of the A&E proposal for the condensing/compressor unit until June 1, 2003
- AV to write an article for the Banner, asking for volunteers to teach craft classes.
