My Reading Interests:
Even though I will read most anything, the books I enjoy read the most are various types of mystery including cozy mysteries and psychological thrillers. The cozy mysteries I enjoy usually include some kind of baking element in the storyline or a bit of magic. After reading several cozy mysteries, I tend to swap my reading taste for horror or action adventure. I enjoy reading an action book that reads like a Hollywood movie.
My Favorites:
Joanne Fluke - Hannah Swenson mysteries
Patricia Cornwell - Scarpetta novels
James Rollins - Novels and Sigma Force series
My favorites change quite often but these are a few of the ones I return to the most often.
What have you read or listened to recently? Currently reading Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty. Recently finished Where the Crawdad’s Sing by Delia Owens and Carter & Lovecraft by Jonathan Howard
What HPL online resources do you use and recommend? Why?
The resource I use the most is Novelist plus. It is a wonderful resource to find a wide variety of subjects, themes and genre for whatever type of book I am currently interested in reading.
Any words of advice for people using Libby or cloudLibrary for the first time?
Don’t hesitate to put a hold on a particular book even if it has quite a few holds on it. It will come available sooner than you think. It always has for me.
