Martha's Reading Profile

Hooksett Library Role: (or...where can you find me in the library usually?)
You can find me in Technical Services getting the materials ready to come out to you! I also facilitate Adult Book Club (and Online Book Club).

My Reading Interests:
A bit of everything! I’m an avid audiobook listener and I love fiction of all kinds (popular, fantasy/speculative, literary, and historical). I also devour graphic novels, thought-provoking/quirky nonfiction, and cookbooks.

What are you reading or listening to now?
The Book of Dreams by Nina George
The Last Wish: Introducing the Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski
When the English Fall by David Williams
Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lucado
Paper Girls, Vol. 6 by Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang, and Matt Wilson

What HPL online resources do you use and recommend? Why?
I like the Cloud Library app for listening to audiobooks. I like it particularly because you can easily skip back a bit if you missed something.
I use NoveList Plus a lot for finding other things to read based on books or series I’ve liked.

Any words of advice for people using Libby or cloudLibrary for the first time?
Limit by availability if you're desperate for something to read. Limit by format if you’re only interested in listening (or only in reading), it’ll help control the options!
