Tastes of Lithuania with Chef Oonagh Williams

Join us as we welcome Chef Oonagh Williams for her Lithuanian armchair travel and tasting presentation. This presentation will last for one and a half hours and will include Lithuanian history, culture, food, and current events.Oonagh gave Lithuanian cooking demos for many years at the Chandler Library in Nashua, NH. She attended summer school at the University of Vilnius in Lithuania (sponsored by the Zylonis Foundation/Charles Zylonis Trust).

Oonagh will display some souvenirs, books, and photo albums from Lithuania.

Finally, you will enjoy a generous tasting buffet with full recipes provided.

Oonagh Williams of Merrimack, NH, is an award-winning television chef and cooking instructor, specializing in made-from-scratch gluten-free recipes and ingredients. A native of London, England, Williams traveled extensively across Europe before moving to New Hampshire with her family in the late 1980s. She is a writer and speaker for the National Celiac Association in Boston. Williams also regularly presents her recipes on WMUR’s Cook’s Corner.
