Want to learn a new craft? One that is fun and easy to pick up? Join fiber enthusiast and librarian Anne Meyers for demonstration of punch needle embroidery, which is a way to create colorful, textured designs on fabric. It's easy to learn, and you can needle punch any design you like. We will craft together and watch selections of a video tutorial on CreativeBug, our online resources for crafters and makers, which has endless inspiration for the do-it-yourself-er! This workshop is designed for beginners, and there is a $5 materials fee, for which all materials will be provided, and participants will complete a small round ornament of their own design.
With a little imagination and some know-how, you will be well on your way to discovering a new medium that will help you use up your yarn stash!
