Calling our writers and wordsmiths, scholars and scrawlers! Hooksett Library invites you to join our virtual Writer’s Club for grownups! Whether or not you’ve written before, or if you write letters, memoir, poetry, fiction, or otherwise, we want to help each of you find dedicated time to get words on the page and to connect with one another. All experience levels welcome!
Each session, we will start with a chat to check in on one another and talk about our successes and struggles with writing since the last meeting. Then, library staff will provide a writing prompt for everyone, and we will close the call for an hour so everyone can write. Afterwards, we invite you to come back together to chat about how we followed (or disregarded) the prompt and let those interested share their work with everyone.
This event will be hosted virtually by Aidan Sonia-Bolduc starting on Thursday, May 28th from 10:00-10:30am for discussion of the writing prompt, then reconvening at 11:30am for sharing.
Please register online for this event, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The day of the program you will receive an email with the link and instructions for joining the virtual meeting room using Jitsi meet.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
