Bear Paw Speaker Series: Pelts, Skulls, Scat and Tracks of New Hampshire's Furbearing Animals

Join us to learn about the animals of the Northeast that have traditionally been trapped for their fur. These animals are elusive and difficult to see in their natural habitat. This event offers the opportunity to examine the pelts, as well as rubber castings of the scat, footprints, and skulls of these animals up close. This presentation will include information about both the mammals’ natural history, and the history of their adaptation to development, hunting, and trapping. This is an exciting chance to learn more about local wildlife!

This is a family friendly, hands-on event and all ages are welcome!
