It's National Poetry month! This month's book club selection, Meet Me at the Museum by Anne Youngson, has a poetic inspiration, and relates the musings of the poet in all of us!
When Tina Hopgood, trapped on an isolated English farm, writes a letter of regret to a man she has never met, she doens't expect a reply. When Anders Larsen, a museum curator, answers it, neither does he. Brought together by a shared fascination with the Tollund Man, subject of Seamus Heaney's famous poem, they begin writing letters to one another. From their vastly different worlds, they're both searching for something - they just don't know it yet.
The Hooksett Library Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month in the upper level of the library. We're always happy to welcome new members! (Please note: Due to size restrictions, this group is now limited to Hooksett Cardholders. Thank you for your understanding.) Please call the library at 603-485-6092 for additional information.
