You can expect to see no longer than 18-24 hours of downtime during the upgrade process on March 24th.

Will I see any changes to my access or features available to me as a LinkedIn Learner?
You'll continue to be able to watch all the same content, bookmark courses, and obtain certificates of completion, etc., as you experienced with the Lynda platform. Please watch the How to Use LinkedIn Learning course for details on all of the features and functionality available to you.

How do I log in to the LinkedIn Learning platform after the upgrade?
You'll log in using the same library account login credentials that you used to access your Lynda.com account, but the address will now be: linkedin.com/learning-login/go/hooksettlibrary.

Is the content the same on LinkedIn Learning as on Lynda.com?
Yes, all of the same great content you know from Lynda.com will be on LinkedIn Learning. The good news is that, after the upgrade, you'll have additional access to a complete catalogue of over 16,000 courses in 7 languages, with more content being added weekly.

Will my history from Lynda.com migrate over to LinkedIn Learning, or will I have to have two separate accounts?
When the upgrade is finalized, all of your coursework and usage history with Lynda.com will be ported into your new LinkedIn Learning account.

Do I need to link a LinkedIn.com user profile to use LinkedIn Learning for Library?
A LinkedIn.com user profile is NOT required to use the Library's LinkedIn Learning resource. For reasons of privacy, LinkedIn.com and LinkedIn Learning for Library are two different platforms/services.

If I have a preexisting LinkedIn.com profile, will I be able to link this profile to the library's LinkedIn Learning account?
In order to respect patron privacy, the library's LinkedIn Learning resource is configured with no social connectivity features. This means that patrons who have existing LinkedIn.com user profiles will NOT be able to connect the library's LinkedIn Learning account profile to their preexisting LinkedIn.com profile.
