Library Access April 11-13

We are excited to welcome the Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson to our GMILCS, Inc., consortium! GMILCS, Inc., is a nonprofit, now 13-member consortium of both public and academic libraries in New Hampshire, sharing an integrated library system.

All GMILCS libraries, including the Hooksett Library, will experience system downtime from Monday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 13 to migrate the Rodgers Memorial Library collections and patrons to our shared library system. During this system downtime, the following service adjustments at the Hooksett Library will be in place:

  • Our library building will be open during its regular hours, and library staff will be able to assist you, in person or Tel: 603-485.6092 | Txt/Chat: 844-854-4475 | Email: hplbooks@hooksettlibrary.org.

  • Library cards will be REQUIRED in order to check out materials, since we will not be able to look up your account information while our system is offline. You may still visit other GMILCS libraries with your library card, depending on their current level of service.

  • Your borrowed materials will NOT be due during this offline period.

  • New interlibrary loan requests will not be possible.

  • Our WiFi, public computers, wireless printing and faxing services will be available as usual.

  • Patron-initiated room bookings and museum pass reservations will be unavailable, but you can contact library staff to manage your requests.

  • Our online catalog will be unavailable for browsing materials, accessing your library account, or placing holds.

  • Our cloudLibrary and OverDrive Libby platforms WILL be accessible for browsing and borrowing digital books and magazines.

  • To access digital resources, please use the links provided below. Please contact the library if you experience any access issues, or visit the library to access the resources on our public WiFi.
