Boston Museum of Fine Arts

Boston Museum of Fine ArtsPass entitles two adults for $10 general admission. Free admission for children aged 17 and younger.


All visitors and members must reserve advance tickets online for general admission or special exhibitions. No ticket sales at the Museum.

  • Library Promo code entitles two people for $10 general admission. Call the library for a promo code.
  • To reserve discounted tickets online, patrons must visit https://www.mfa.org/tickets and select the date and type of ticket, and enter the promo code (supplied by the library) on the top right corner of the next page, which will activate the reduced admission rate.
  • Patrons will receive an e-mail confirmation with their admission ticket(s) and need to present their ticket(s) when they arrive at the Museum, preferably on a phone or device, but tickets printed on paper are accepted. A physical library pass will no longer be used for admission.
  • All visitors regardless of age are required to have a timed-entry ticket. Timed-entry tickets help us maintain safe and mandated capacity limits set by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Make sure everyone in your party has a mask.

Passes are not applicable toward discounts on shopping, parking, dining, films, concerts, lectures/seminars, courses or any other public programs.

Boston Museum of Science

Museum of SciencePass valid for up to 4 people to receive 50% off admission price. Valid only for Exhibit Halls. Does not include admission to the Omni, Planetarium/Laser, 3D Digital Cinema, Butterfly Garden, or special exhibits.


Steps to register for the library pass (eVoucher)...

  1. Check and reserve available Library pass for the Museum of Science
  2. Your Library pass (eVoucher) can only be used on the date printed on the pass. 
  3. CALL THE MUSEUM TO RESERVE A TIMED TICKET. Call 617-723-2500 (daily, 9am – 5pm). Please call at least 1-2 days ahead to reserve your timeslot, otherwise the Museum might be fully booked. 
  4. After you make your timed reservation with the Museum, you will receive an email confirmation with your reservation time. 
  5. Bring both your library pass confirmation (eVoucher), either printed or displayed on your phone, and your email confirmation from the Museum. 
  6. Show both confirmations at the gate to enter. Note: You do not need to stop at the Box Office. 

If you are not able to show your Library confirmation on a phone or print it from home, request a paper copy from the library.

Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Children's Museum of NHPass valid for 50% reduced admission for up to four regular paid admissions- $11.00 adults & children over 1 year of age, $9 – seniors age 65+ (additional guests pay the regular admission of $11.00  admission). 


The museum now operates with limited days/hours: Thursdays - Saturdays. Visitors must reserve a timed session online: 9-11:30am or 1-3:30pm. Please visit the museum's reservation page at [https://www.childrens-museum.org/visit/info] to make a date/time reservation and then submit a request to borrow the library's pass which can be issued in print or digital format at the patron's request or preference.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Isabella Stewart Gardner MuseumEach pass provides up to 4 people with $5.00 admission per person. Children under the age of 18 free admission.

New protocols in place due to pandemic...
Museum Pass Program passholders must claim a printed, dated pass from their library. Provided with your pass will be instructions to purchase discounted, advance tickets online using a special promo code. This code can only be redeemed for the day you have reserved. Should you have trouble purchasing your tickets online, please contact the Box Office at 617 278 5156.  
To ensure a safe and enjoyable visitor experience, Museum entry will be timed and capacity highly restricted.
  • All tickets will be sold for a specific entry time between 11 am–3:30 pm (11 am–7:30 pm on Thursdays). Please arrive no more than five minutes ahead of your designated time slot
  • Parties of 8 or more are not permitted
  • Visitors who arrive more than five minutes earlier than the time slot designated on their tickets will be turned away until five minutes before their designated time slot
  • Members and Patrons must reserve tickets ahead of their visit, and hold tickets at time of entry. 

Manchester Millyard Museum

Pass valid for free admission for up to 4 Adults/Children. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.  Closed July 4th. All guests are asked to use ONLY the Commercial Street entrance to the building and remain only on the first floor during your visit. At times, the entrance may be locked, even during our open hours. If you are trying to visit the museum during our normal operating hours and the exterior door is locked, please call the Museum’s main line (603-622-7531) and someone will let you in.

    • Visitors will be required to maintain social distancing of 6 feet inside the museum. 
    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • A limit of 30 visitors maximum inside the museum at any time will be maintained.
    • A plexi glass shield will be installed at the admissions desk. Cashless transactions are encouraged. 
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk and in the building lobby.
    • A one-way flow through the museum will be followed to facilitate social distancing, with floor directional arrows installed throughout the galleries.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles, push buttons, and phones, will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Many interactive components of the exhibits have been temporarily removed to minimize contact.
    • The Museum shop will be open. Please maintain social distancing while in the shop.
    • The restrooms immediately outside the museum entrance have been designated for Millyard Museum guests only. Surfaces will be cleaned regularly throughout the day, and professionally cleaned daily.

Research Center

Those wishing to visit our Research Center can do so by appointment only. Appointment times will be limited to 2-hour time blocks between 10am and 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There will be a maximum of 3 researchers allowed at a time.

    • Masks will be required for visitors, volunteers, and staff (while in common areas).
    • Hand sanitizer will be readily available at the admissions desk.
    • Common use surfaces, including door handles and tables will be cleaned and disinfected at a minimum of every two hours.
    • Visitors should not enter our facilities if they are sick.

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

All MSDC visitors will be required to reserve their tickets online prior to their visit. Timed tickets allow for up to two and half hours to explore the exhibit galleries, either from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM or from 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM, and the Discovery Center will close from 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM for cleaning. 


The morning and afternoon slots will both allow for up to 70 guests, and if there are tickets available, we will offer them for walk-in purchase at our front desk. Please note that if you purchase tickets at the front desk, your admission is valid within the time slot you purchase your tickets; i.e. if you purchase morning admission tickets at noon, you still only have until 1:00 PM to explore.


Steps to reserve pass and get tickets to the Center...

  • Check for and reserve available library pass (valid for up to 4 visitors-disincluding planetarium shows).
  • Visit https://www.starhop.com/tickets and be sure to select from the Member admission tickets section of the listed options (note that there are zeros in the price column) and proceed with checkout to generate eTicket.
  • Bring library pass and tickets to Front Desk at MSDC for (free) admission.


New England Aquarium

New England Aquarium

Pass is valid for up to 4 individuals and the discount is 50% copayment per person. Adults $31, Seniors (60+) $29, Children 3-11 $22, Children <3 free. Library pass users will be able to purchase up to four discounted admission tickets in advance by phone (617-973-5206) or (617-973-5200) or onsite at the Box Office.


A library coupon does not guarantee entry to the Aquarium on the date of the coupon. We encourage booking as far in advance as possible. Patrons are strongly encouraged to review the NE Aquarium's reopening page ahead of their visit to ensure a safe and accessible experience.

NH State Parks

NH State ParksPass is valid for two adults and up to four children to visit any of the day-use parks for free ($1.00 parking fee required). Contact the library to reserve your discount pass. At this time you must also reserve a parking space and pay a $1.00 parking fee. Visit this link for more info on how to borrow the pass. The pass is not valid at the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram or the Flume Gorge and cannot be used at Hampton Beach - South, Wallis Sands, metered parking or for camping.


Seacoast Science Center

Seacoast Science CenterPass admits $4/Adult, $2/Child ages 6 and older, $0/Under 6, and small fee for online processing.



Seacoast Science Center is currently open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm. The Center is open at 50% capacity so we now require advance reservations. We offer three time slots for visitors each day: 10am – 12 noon, 12 noon – 2pm, and 2pm – 4pm. 

A new online ticketing platform has been added to our website as of 4/27/2021. To make a reservation, your patrons will to go to the Plan Your Visit page on our website (URL: https://www.seacoastsciencecenter.org/plan-your-visit/welcome-back-hours-admission)...

  • Choose Admission Tickets, then Member & Pass Holder Admission, which will open in a new window. 
  • Choose the date and time they wish to visit. If a time slot is full, it will indicate SOLD OUT so they will need to choose a different time. 
  • Choose the number and ages of people in party. For each person, choose: 
    • Member or Pass Holder: Pass Holder 
    • Type of Pass: Library 
    • Name of Library: type in the name of your library 

Please note that the NH State Parks use fee is also charged during the reservations process - $4/adult, $2/child age 6 & over - as a well as a small fee for online processing. The state park use fee is required as SSC is a separate non-profit organization and tenant of Odiorne Point State Park in Rye. Patrons will receive an email confirmation and should also present the library discount pass (paper or electronic) to show at our front desk when they check in.


Some exhibits have been changed for safety reasons but patrons are still able to visit our live animals in the Gulf of Maine Hall and the Restoring Reefs in the Eversource Gallery. Our naturalists will be at-the-ready with resources to guide their experience as they explore Odiorne Point State Park with their family. They can grab a laminated outdoor adventure guide or stay hands-free and view on their cell phone. Whether they want to get their feet wet in the tide pools, or learn more about the fascinating natural or social history of the Park, we’ve got it covered.

SEE Science Center

SEE Science Center

Pass valid (at SEE museum only) for up to 2 (two) individuals.

Due to the pandemic, the following protocols will be in place:

  • Guests are required to pre-register for one of two time slots per day 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm. 
  • Guests can register by calling 603-669-0400 or by signing up on our website (Online registering will be possible in the near future).
  • Visitors will be required to wear masks and will receive a confirmation with all relevant information after selecting their time of visit. 
  • Two visitors per day for a total potential of 4 unique free visitors per weekend.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

The Library Membership pass is valid for up to four $10 trail admissions per day.

  • Library Member pass holders do NOT need to phone the Science Center or make reservations prior to arrival.
  • Library Member pass holders may simply check in at the Admissions window in the Welcome Center.
  • Library patrons may borrow the Library Member pass for a specific day: one per day through November 1, 2021.
  • The Library Membership pass is valid for up to four $10 trail admissions per day during the 2021 trail season.
  • Library Patrons must bring this pass with them to the Admissions window at the Welcome Center.

USS Constitution Museum

USS Constitution Museum

Currently closed January 2021.

Pass valid for free admission to the museum for up to 9 individuals. Hours: 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.


Reservations are now required to enter the Museum. Plan to arrive at the USS Constitution Museum within the 30-minute time frame designated on your timed ticket. Re-entry after your 30-minute time frame is not permitted at this time to maintain accurate capacity limits. As a reminder, your ticket does not include time aboard USS Constitution (the Ship). Visit USS Constitution’s website for more information on visiting the Ship.


The Ship is closed Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.


Constitution is still open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis during their operating hours. Please be aware that visitors must pass through a security inspection and show federal or state photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, before embarking on USS Constitution. Visitors under the age of 18 do not require a photo identification card. While on board, you might choose to pose for a picture at her helm, or by the Ship’s bell.

Zoo New England: Franklin Park & Stone Zoos

Zoo New EngladPass provides discounted admission for a group of up to 6 individuals per ticket to the Franklin Park and Stone Zoos. Admission with pass: Adult $9.00 Children $6.00, a savings of up to 80%!


You will need to contact the library for a promo code before you order the tickets from the Zoo website. Contact the library for reservations.
